Admin team is lazy

In the days before we had some updates almost daily, like a little script changes with few new commands or attached objects or something else, we had much more events, that all was attracting new players, where is all that now? Thats the reason why we lose players, we don't have anything new, for real.

Known fact, but I aint got motivation anymore to script something, also not too much time todo it.

All I could I already done for WCL, harder scripts I am just not capable todo, or if I will try to script them, ill need few more scripters that understand something in a more difficult code, so we could do the work together, Owen is away, and alone I really cant do much.

Thats about the script part, as for events part, I have no idea why no events are held, people should maybe suggest some event and we will try do it.

That doesn't mean they are lazy, but maybe they are just scripting something new for us. Scripting is not so easy and maybe UN owen, Compton can't script everything we want, Suggestions topic is closed too, so they might haven't got any ideas what to script

It's not that I dont want, or I dont know what to script, it's just im not capable to script everything that players request, here are the three simple reasons:

-I aint got much time to script
-I cant script difficult scripts
-I am not getting any help in difficult scripting

I know that the players want to see an updated drug system and weapon dealing system, but im just not capable of doing it alone, when Owen will be back and if he will be capable of helping me with some of this, why not? As for now, here are your reasons.

Are there already ideas in your head what you will improve in weapon and drug dealing system... ? write them down here maybe I can help a little.

We should find developers or take personal time to learn about scripting, Owen said he'd help me but -- the only chance we ever did something was learning about the moving tool position on objects so they can fit on peds.

Maybe you should open the Suggestions and just deny suggestions that are too hard to script. I'm sure good ideas will come and some will sure be easy to script.

Pretty much we got only 2 scripters right now, and one isn't active. Majority of the admin team are either helpers or low level admins who take care of the specific wing they are assigned to do. Meebo is the head of the events and nobody had been requesting anything yet regarding events, as far as I know.

What if compton and owen hire people they trust and have script experience to script for them??!

And hiring other people means to pay them money, mostly all of the scripters these days are hungry for money.

Most scripters nowadays just script for money or for admin rank.
And usually they're like "What do you need me to script?" not like someone who will be with the server and develop it.

Maybe topic name is a bit offensive towards Admin team, but okay, I understand with the script, but some little updates like new commands are okay, and I got and idea for gun dealing system, it will be like admin have that cmd /givegun ID [bullets], 100% same as in admin script, just allow players to use it, with some little changes that requires a player to have that weapon on him, like I got ak with 20 bullets, someone buys it by doing /pay id [money], later another one does, /givegun id [bullets], it will give a gun to another player, and it will give only the gun which is scrolled on your hud atm, not any other, you'll just need to scroll the weapon which you want to sell, thats that.

About events, nobody asks you to make a head of events someone from admins team, do it like with Lil Dan, he's not an admin but he's still head of factions, one thing what head of events will need it's forum moderator rank and some of admins ig, that's all, not that hard, right?

His server was full copy of WCL mixed with mine and Chrillzen's server which was based on real life gangs, about his scripts.. well, they're not so difficult, we're talking here about difficult scripts, not some simple skin selection which is simple to script and some stolen and a onathan's, Jope's and other shittlers here, to be honest.

If you want events, you should actually suggest them in th Events section and I'll start organizing things.And I think that people won't be on the events, because the server is not that active to organize a big event.Though we could maybe organize an event here and there on the weekdays.

Well, It's obvious that admins want to roleplay themselves, but mostly there are about 2-4 admins online, so they should be on duty in shifts, so that atleast ONE admin would be on duty at all times, and after 30 minutes/1 hour, the on-duty admin changes. Simple as that. What it comes down to, is people sitting down and setting stuff straight. Being an administrator isn't supposed to be easy, that's obvious, but it's possible to make it easier, you just have to think of a way.

I doubt you will see a active/popular server with only 1 scripter in charge. All of those servers have atleast 4 people to handle things when it comes to scripting.

While Owen was away, I was taking care of donations, now when Owen is back I hope that it will be a 2 men scripting team again, because so far the only things that are getting added to the server are donations from mine or owen's side.

I dont have enough scripting knowledge todo big hard scripts and I am in need of more scripters help(that will be able todo hard stuff). I am not sure what Owen can do, because we never did scripts together and he didnt share much about his knowledge.

Well Compton, if you need scripters, you should do a recruiting topic, I'm pretty sure that there are some capable scripters in our community, willing to help.

Well, I'll do what i can. But i'm currently holding down two jobs, Got a bit of a debt at the minute. And i can't guarantee my activity will be stable because i'm not losing my house again like i did 2 years ago. But i will try my best to make at least one update a week. I'll start adding something else in the next week or so, But that's really all i can promise at this point as well as dealing with the donators and their rewards. To be completely honest, I think we're gonna need another developer, Or at least some people who want to help out voluntary. Cause i'm struggling with the work-load as it is to be quite frank with you.
