GTA 4's story is actually connected to the GTA 3 to VCS story :O

Yall know how People like CJ or Claude can't meet up with Niko or shit? F**k that. I just saw an OG Loc disc on the 2nd house that Niko gets, so probably the GTA 4 Story still continues on the GTA 3-VCS time line

Rockstar said themselves when GTA IV was in development, that it will be a whole new cannon era without being connected in between the game franchise story wise, like the previous games. Like Mark said, those are just easter eggs to keep your mind busy.

1 year ago i played GTA 4 on my cousin's PC..i wasn't doing missions,just fooling around..lol,anyway GTA SA got the best story 4 me..

Rockstar has been doing shit like that for years, its called an "Easter-egg" where they put some shitty suprise in the game just to get their fans/player's panties in a twist.

Go to google and search "GTA IV Easter Eggs" ...

Like in the ghetto's on the griffiti there are words that say, "RIP" then it says the names of all of the GTA series main characters. stuff like, "we'll never forget you Vic Vance". Or the big billboard in the middle of algonquin that has a picture of CJ wearing a suit drinking wine. There are soo many easter eggs in this series.

It's just like on Vice City where near the News building you jump into a wall and you find the egg. Another one is on SA on the top of the SF Bridge above the Pleasure Domes club "No hidden easter eggs up here!" and on GTA 4, the heart of the statue of liberty
