This medal is earned by an officer who performs an extraordinary individual act of bravery and heroism while on his duty. This is the highest police medal award.
This medal is earned by an officer who shows bravery by saving a fellow officer or civilian on duty.
This medal is earned by an officer who performs an act of bravery while on duty, but not beyond the level as in the Medal of Valor.
This medal is earned by an officer who is seriously injured or killed while performing his duty.
This ribbon is earned by an officer who actively participates and contributes in a major organized mission.
This ribbon is earned by an officer who serves and remains in the LSPD for over one month.
This ribbon is earned by an officer who serves and remains in the LSPD for over four months.
This ribbon is earned by an officer who reaches the rank of Lieutenant or above and becomes part of the LSPD High Command.
This medal is earned by an officer who participates in over 50 arrests while on his duty.
