Luna D'oro Crime Family

Story

Luna D'oro Crime Family was created in Palermo, Italy in the early 1950's. It was founded by Bernardo Novelli after the second world war. The family first grew public attention when they robbed one of sicily's largest banks. As a result of this there leader got arrested and sentenced to death. This was a big loss for the family, and they stayed low for a while. The bank robbery did still have a positive outcome for the family since they got away with the money. Even though the family stayed low they made some cash by smuggling drugs and weapons, doing bribes and offered businesses and resturants protection for money. However making money in Italy did not make such a hugh profit. In the late 19th century and early 20th century people all over Italy and mainly Sicily had imigrated to the U.S. People over there had been making a fortune, the romour was spread and grew attention and interest among criminals. The Luna D'oro Crime Family eventually grew bigger and also decided to move some of there activity to the United States. They made a choice to settle down in Los Santos where the family is trying to make new contacts and expand there organization. The family is now lead by Giovanni Novelli also known as Viper.

Rules:

In order to be invited into the Luna D'oro Crime Family and become a member one must perform a series of tasks, such as committing murder for the family and not for one's own personal benefit. When the boss decides to let a member into the family one will be part of a ceremony, involving the drawing of blood, swearing an oath over a gun or holy picture, and obeying the rules of the organization. If one breaks any of the rules they can be killed by another member of the family and usually the murder is committed by the people closest to that person.

1. "Omertà" – is the oath or "code of silence", never talk to the authorities.
2. "Family secrets" – members are not allowed to talk about family business to non-members.
3. "Blood for blood" – if a family member is killed (by another member) no one can commit murder (in revenge) until the boss gives permission.
4. "No fighting among members" – from fist fights to knife fights.
5. "Obey"-Listen and follow orders from higher ranked members.
