I will post a system for a way to role playing playing pool in-game. Me and some other guys use it and it has been working good so far. The game isn't too short or too long.
What you need:
Dice (from a 24/7 store)
Pool table
Rules:
There are 15 balls total, which means each player has to pocket 7 normal balls + 1 special in end (black 8 ball). 8 balls to pocket overall.
If a player pockets a ball, it is his turn again. If he misses, it is the other player's turn. If you pocket the black 8 ball, you loose (unless it is your only ball left to pocket - the last). First player to pocket all 8 balls of his - wins.
How to play:
After taking a shot through a '/me' command, the dice gets rolled - '/roledice'. Here is how things get decided:
8 and above - You pocket a ball, your turn again.
7 and under - You miss, other player's turn.
6 and 6 - You pocket two balls at once, your turn again.
1 and 1 - You pocket the black 8 ball, you loose (when only the 8 ball left, you win).
With this system you can place bets and go against each other for money.
