Lincoln Courts Today

The Lincoln Courts is a 700-unit low-income public housing project located in Ganton, Los Santos. It is owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Santos and it was named after decorated doctor Raymond F. Lincoln, whose heroic acts in battlefield during the Resistance War Against America (see Vietnam War) and off of it, later in Los Santos's County General Hospital, saved over 500 lives.
Throughout the crack epidemic of the 80s and the continuing gang warfare of the 90s and beyond, the whole Ganton district was home to the Families, a dangerous harbor for afro-american youth. In recent years, after several ups and downs in crime rates, the emergence and disolvence of the Forum Drive Famlies, and several crackdown operations by the LSPD that arrested most of the drug dealers and street leaders, the community lives at long last, peaceful days.

Characters

Joshua Pierce is a young, prominent resident of the projects. After struggling for years to get a job with his low GED scores, Joshua started a campaign to attract others like him, mostly his neighbours, to follow him into a journey of crime and money. However, he likes to look over them all as family and is willing to treat even a stranger of his color like a brother. A true walking banner for "strength is in numbers".

Jameer Williams is a 17-year old living with his grandmother in the Ganton projects. He was kicked out of school due to bad behavior and low grades. Jameer is interested in basketball and bicycles. Jameer is a very emotionally troubled person, usually remarked as a racist.

Mark Andersen is a 15-year old boy that moved in Lincoln alongside his mother when they got evicted from their house in Temple. Mark has been open-handly accepted into the black community but is still sometimes in depression for being different. He got the nickname Marky for sometimes acting sorry whenever someone talked to him.

Lance Watts is a 16 years old teenager which grew up in the Raymond Lincoln Projects. His friends call him "Wax" for an unknown reason. He's like all the other teenagers in the Projects. Poor. His biggest wish is to have much money to help out his Mother.

Out of Character Information

The roleplay in this faction is around the interactions between a young group of residents from the housing projects, sharing a brotherhood-like bond to achieve the goal of money.
Follow all the rules of the server, don't roleplay flashy, that's the basic.
If you're looking to roleplay with us, you don't need to have the intentions to be part of the criminal part, you can be around even as a police officer, since we'll be mostly covering the gang activity doesn't mean we won't roleplay as normal citizens and not allow anyone else to be around us.
I'm looking to bring in members of the community to roleplay as young teenagers trying to make a living, I'm not looking for sadistic people who join this because they want to RP the ballas shot someone from their family, no, just a no. You're a normal kid with a family going through the life in the ghetto, period. We're here to roleplay our way up the "food chain", if you want to call it that.
Keep in mind this faction means a refresh in all characters, meaning if you're alredy in OGF you got to start all over as a normal guy that none of us know (unless you want to roleplay brothers or something, but just don't keep in mind you'll get recruited fastly just by being my brother, for example).
All the recruitment is done fully in-character, that means you can be here for a month, but if you've done nothing for the faction in-character, just logging in to talk around and then go around driving might end up taking you down to a point where a guy that shows up and shows his best for the faction in-character, provides good roleplay and also "puts in work" in-character gets recruited in less than a week, if you don't do any of that you can go up to a lot.
I'll also add that any member from any race can join the roleplay, so we ain't keeping the old "afro-american" only rule, though it may take your experience in the gang a bit more rough.

NOTE: All those characters I'm adding in are actual players who want to roleplay living in the projects, not gang affiliated (even though it doesn't exist anyway)
