Me and Meebo had a conversation in game, which raised a pretty good question.


Didnt we RPed in the modern days (Year of 201x) back in the past before the server was closed?

Im pretty sure i have some memories of roleplaying Lil Dan messing around with touch screen cellphones and complaining about them, and other modern shit.

And not to mention that Lil Dan was 20 in 90's, and when he got CKed he was 40 years old and had a son behind him who jumped to fill his void?


The other matter would be do we acknowledge past events of the server as lore history?
I essentially want to continue roleplaying with old character, who happened to be Lil Dan's son and tried to take over SBF after his death, however, with OGF around, its evident that he failed.

We are roleplaying in 2017. We did try to roleplay 1992 in 2016, but the idea was scrapped. Majority (and I'm talking admin team here) wanted the server to be dated in 2017. I don't think we'll go back in time once again.

Dan this is an intervention:
Let go of your old characters. Let them die out. Most gang members don't live past their early 20's let lil dan's son go and go on with a new character. You did a good job with the old one. Why not start again?
We jumped to the future because people got tired of it in 2012 or 2013. In teh last month of the old server by popular demand we went back to the 90's.

Let it go. Or just adapt your character to the modern time as I did with my old MC one.

The server does not follow SP storyline and therefor doesn't abide by a possible continuation of it either. For all we know, the SP characters never existed in the 'WCL' universe. They're created by players that want to RP a character just like anyone else. It just so happens that we, in the OOC world, know that those characters exist in the SP storyline.

The question you should ask instead is: how old are all the characters that WCL players are bringing back? Sure, someone must have RPed all those SP characters before and anyone RPing them must make it so they aged since 2011 (start of WCL). The problem here is that nobody has any recollection of what the age was when players started RPing them and therefor all ages were reset (the first player picking an SP char to RP can set the initial age [max 25 yrs old]). By the way, skin != RP character; someone using the Sweet skin doesn't have to RP Sweet. Skin variation is an RP limitation in GTA SA to some extent.

Was Lil_Dan incarcerated for life? Was he CK'ed? If neither, then yes, you can bring him back.

Lil Dan is still alive, alongside primo torres both AFK behind the liquor store
Rocce still inactive + catfish
Doughboy is still inactive he still claims to be active even tho his game isnt even installed
