Something worth mentioning that wasn't there. Apostrophes also act in and fill for missing letters in words. Walking can turn into walkin'. Apostrophes do not aid for slang words or colloquial English. Only for missing letters in such instances.
Wrong: Wanna', Gonna', Nigga', Nah', Chea', Em'.
Correct: Wanna, Gonna, Nigga, Nah, Chea, 'Em.
While we're at it, a thing such as "-.." also does not exist. Sentences mid-way or fully end either with "...", "--" or "—". There's no such thing as a "-..." or "..-".
