Xian Triangle

The Xian Triangle otherwise known as the Xian Boys is a street gang organized under an ancient Chinese Triad organization known as the Blue Lotus Triads.

The Xian Triangle originated in Los Santos during the early 1990's when Chinese and Japanese immigration peaked in the United States. Like many other Asian groups it was formed for protecting the newly immigrated Asians from the already formed Black and Latino street gangs.

With the current Dragon Head Joey Wong still in power the gang continued to grow; making connections both drug and weapon related in the city and initiating a large amount of members that were used to import and sell drugs in the city. however this success wasn't held very long.

In 2007 an ATF raid which lead to Wong's arrest along with around 25 other members. This raid left the Xian Boys leaderless and without half of their numbers. This in turn lead to the extreme secrecy seen within the gang that we see in modern times. As the current Dragon Head's Identity is currently unknown to the LSPD or other government task forces they are sure of the identity of his two highest ranking members; Jesse Long and Winston Lee.

The 2007 raid that was thought to have brought an end to the Xian Triangle instead lead only to their loss in numbers however as we know the gang isn't completely gone, instead it's chosen to fly under the radar for the past six years as well as the time being.

Since the Blue Lotus Triads' Red Pole and Dragonhead of the Xian Triangle Joey Wong was arrested, the Blue Lotus Triads couldn't afford losing territory in Los Santos, so they quickly decided to replace Joey with his second in command, Jackie Wong.A lot of other members of the Blue Lotus Triads disagreed with the Chairman's decision, mainly because they thought he didn't deserve it, as he's yet too new to the Triads.They thought that he was only promoted due to him being the next one on the Xian Triangle's chain of command, and it was the quickest thing to rehabilitate order in the street gang.

As of 2007, Jackie Wong began to prove his worth as the Triads' new Red Pole.Mainly, the gang was in disarray, and it got to the stage where they had no money.Jackie used the Triad connections to get him and other several remaining Triad members employed at a factory in Ocean Docks.They managed to get a high in-come due to their connections with the Triads, which was enough to get them set up, and get the money flowing again.

As the years passed, they began to adapt to secrecy, and work in shadows, mainly for other gangs in Los Santos, that got enough money to pay them.By the year of 2009, some of Xian Triangle soldiers were arrested for murder and assassination attempts.This only led the Xian Triangle to some feuds with the other branches of the Blue Lotus Triads, due to them thinking that Jackie isn't a fit leader, and they wanted to achieve their own justice, by getting rid of the actual Xian Triangle Dragonhead.As they didn't have enough money for firepower, and controlled no business in Los Santos, nor did they have any influence on the streets, by the year of 2010, the gang lost several other soldiers to the rival Asian branches of the Blue Lotus Triads.Jackie Wong and his trusted lieutenants sought ways to protect themselves from the rival gangs, and therefore they went underground, and entered a re-building mode.They started taking less jobs from lesser sources, and started offering their services to the more powerful gangs in Los Santos, taking jobs that pay more.By the end of 2011, the gang has finally gotten back on its feet and began working as a muscle for a rising dominant power in Los Santos, often known for their vast drug Empire and influence over Los Santos.The money income was going quite well, and by the year of 2012, the gang has managed to get back on its feet, well enough so they can operate again.Nowadays, the Xian Triangle focuses on small-time business, and avoids contact with any outside, non trusted sources.Also it has a very strict policy in terms of joining, which makes it very difficult to infiltrate in by Law Enforcement Officers, mainly because of their harsh attitude towards Outsiders.

((This is the background story for the faction being started by certain players in the server. Recruitment to this faction will be extremely strict and tough to get into. There won't be a rank list for the time being to avoid MG. Also in order to join the faction you must role play as an Asian character and be well developed and ready to attempt to create role play for yourself, this means don't depend on others to create role play situation for you! Most factions are inactive, the other new faction that was added recently is inactive also. Why adding a new one if the players could be used to fill up the inactive factions? Useless topic.

Factions are going to be in active regardless of what players play in what factions. With 30 player spots there are never going to be 8-10 players per faction and to be honest most players will play were their friends play so it will be about that number (8-10) in 2-3 factions while most of the rest are inactive or have 3-4 players. Please don't say that a topic is useless unless you fully think things out. If this is useless then so is your entire faction/topics, now I'm not trying to be disrespectful towards anyone but think about that.

As you see, people are getting bored of the gangs they have, people make their own factions now, they construct their own concept of roleplay, at it's workin atleast for some time, people is joining in new faction and makes some wonderful roleplay, so I don't think if they close this everyone will join FYB or Vagos and Aztecas and even American Mafia, people always have their second account to join this without leaving their own faction.

First of all, why are you even bringing TDF up? this has nothing to do with TDF so calm your tits.
This faction will go to waist also, just like every other faction that has recently been added. It's bullshit that players come up with factions while other fucking factions are inactive. First make the inactive one's active and then continue making factions. Someone said why wouldent this replace the dead factions? Bullshit. You are saying you should create a new faction to cover up the inactive ones, you cannot do that. I mean like, how on earth could you think about a new faction when there are plenty of choices to make here now. Don't tell me you are ' Sick of the hood rp ' and want something ' different ' because that's bullshit. We had a chinese faction and guess what it ended up dead, so don't come here saying you want something different because then i suggest you to unplug your fucking internet. Thank you.

Chill your balls, bro'. Maybe people want to have a special race faction, not nigga bullshit all over the streets. When SLS/1993A had Da Nang Boys and .. I think Yakuza, it was cool, it had all the SP factions.

People think now that this faction is interesting, awesome or what ever. They will join it, and after couple days, they will leave, no matter if they have alt account or no. Mafia factions are dieing quickly. If this is community with over 100 players dayly, them Mafia would have some chance. Okay, to someone, hood roleplay is boring. Whats different with Mafia? You will do same shit every day! Racketeering (not sure if I wrotte it good), driving around the city, opening restourants or clubs, smoking and dr4nking, kidnapping or shooting.. You are doing that also in every faction. That is my opinion.

I Don't think they want it to be a mafia, from the topic you can understand that it's a street gang, an Asian one that is controlled by the Triad mafia IC'ly. So basically this is a Triad foot soldier street gang.

Whatever tho, so far this topic is nothing but spam/arguments. If this faction wants to become something serious it's members should start showing some activity in-game and updating this thread, otherwise this won't go far.

No matter if its Mafia or street gang, the way of roleplay will be same. Best faction that was made with high level of roleplay was Iron Horsemen MC / Slayermen MC. Wish all best for this faction.
