| as tittle says, what do you think about raising penalties? I just get that idea.. and if you think to wait in jail for murder 15 minutes and 15 minutes for shooting in public, and wearing illegal gun is but low amount for me, and now we have nice big jail in Blue Berry and I was wondering to raise penalties for big crimes ... for example there would be also 1h-1h 30 min to spend in jail for murder.. I know some of you will say "nah that's to long" but if you think a bit it's a murder not parking ticket, so players will think twice about committing crime like this... I didn't figured out yet about /q and avoiding this... but let me see first what you guys think about this. Also you can leave comments | |

No it's about penalties not what you will role play, it's still more real to wait longer time for murder than 15 minutes...

| Compton needs to add a system that's similiar to the admin jail. And we need more players for that, maybe give some time to it. | |

| Saucedo says it's BS because he looses time to be outside shooting people, just my opinion.
It's a great idea, I usually do that when someone gets jailed, 1 guy, 2 guys, a low ammount of them, I just take a skin and ask another PD member to be a guard, and I RP with them, the time passes fast there for me, since the roleplay can be really cool to do.

| I think this is a good idea.It will work with the amount of players we have now, anyways. This'll decrease the amount of DM towards Cops / other people, will increase fear towards Police Officers, and the fear of killing. Also, leaders won't organize an attack / tagging / drive by every 25 minutes.Besides, just like Bull said, we got a new prison in Red County. We can RP our characters going to prison and doing stuff in those hours we'll spend there, so people can't actually complain that there's nothing to do in the meantime.I was actually jailed for 2h once by Slick and I RPed in prison(even though it was only a cell back then).I totally support this idea. | |

| Totally agree with it man, this is a good idea. As Meebo mentioned above, that will decrease dm towards cops n other players n will also bring fear towards officers. | |

| As I people are supporting this, but I will wait few more days for votes, keep voting and posting comments EDIT: Some examples are already posted at LSPD - Information topic you can check if this will be accepted penalties will be raised so people will think before commit crime including speeding, attempt of murder, and some other penalties will be added.

| Didn't quite state yes or no, but it's obviously going to be a 'yes'. I've seen alot of players not fearing the fact that they can get sentenced to prison for a long time, and I always come across players who always do crimes over and over again after they get releasted from precint, it starts to get kind of annoying. | |

That's why I get idea about raising penalties also people are speeding to much, escaping police chases and so on... if this will be accepted PD will raise penalties and I will add few more other new penalties.. And I hope this will bring less DM, attacks in public areas, and players will need to think twice before commit a crime, also it will bring more rp in prison, because it's great mapped jail and it should be sad to not use it..

| I agree with this suggestion, but the suggestions aren't really open... doesn't matter, it's a good idea and it deserves to be implemented into the server, now it'll be a lot harder to kill some cops. | |

Amm Suggestions aren't really open but this is actually question how people would like to see higher penalties it will bring more reality rp and our great mapped (in my opinion) prison will be used more, not only events. And killing cops won't be harder because of this.

| I agree. The time should be raised up to 50-60 minutes. | |

| I think 30 min for a kill is a little much, like we have already seen how people die out bcus they dont get money fast enough and shit like this, but if this works ok then i guess ill agree | |

| My only problem with this entire idea is that before we had a very small police force. Now the police almost outnumber all other players in the server. I think that people want to be police for the simple reason of knowing that they have the power to jail people for 50-60 minutes and am not sure if it's the best approach. Now if the [PD] was made a lot harder to enter then maybe but due to the rise within the past week of PD and having a miniscule idea of why everyone wants to be in it now I believe that it isn't the best idea right away but maybe eventually. | |
