::WCL-RP:: Timeline and Storyline

Since we've decided to give this server another go, we also decided that we will be more careful and we will pay more attention regarding the server's development, thus, taking another approach at character and story development. This being said, we have decided to start RPing before the events of the main storyline, setting the year to 1990. This is a year when Orange Grove Families are at the height of their power, and they have not been split up into sets, a year where the East Side Ballas are left in dismay due to their war with their arch rivals, and have only a couple of territories available to them, such as Glen Park, Jefferson, East Los Santos. This also means that all the OGs such as Lil Devil, Big Devil, Tony are still alive and Carl Johnson still hasn't returned from his affairs in Liberty City. On the other side of town, the Los Santos Vagos and the Varrios Los Aztecas are still fighting their war for dominance, while the Vagos not being as strong as they were in 1992, due to the Orange Grove Families and the East Side Ballas taking over and sharing parts of East Los Santos and the afferent neighbourhoods. While the local gangs of Los Santos are fighting for control, and the Orange Grove Families are sitting at the top of the food chain, will they be able to overcome the incoming drug overflow that had just hit the streets of Los Santos, and had also managed to sway high ranking members such as B-Dup and Big Bear into the drug trafficking business.

I gave you a short rundown of what the focus of this server will be, once it's up and running. Now you're probably wondering why we've decided to take such an approach? Well, the answer is quite simple. The fact that once we start up we won't have such a big amount of players to allow us to create and manage the factions we want, so we've decided to start really small, and make sure that we make all the factions active with the small player base we have as of now. As soon as the server gets more players and becomes more active we'll gradually advance throughout the years (this also gives us the opportunity to set up a great deal of events to mark the succession between years), and we'll slowly move towards the present years, allowing you to fully create and customize a faction of your own, thus giving the server a realistical atmosphere as you'd feel the time pass and the world changing around you and your character.
