Drug System Improvement

Good ideas and all, but too complicated for me to script, you know I am not such a good scripter, but hey if Owen got any idea on how to help me with this, some of the ideas we will try to add.

just a tip, when I was scripting I was searching for already scripted things on sa-mp forum and I download it and check it carefully and teach from it and than scripted my own things, so its should be same thing with drug system, search for one, and check it how does it goes ... and than make your own script, damn I think I should start scripting again, I was enough good but I forgot almost everything. :S

It's because we (HEPBURN), are your drug cartel.
You come to us for what ever supply you need like kilos, grams, or pounds.
Street gangs go to Drug Organizations to get supply like crack or heroin.
Maybe our "drug store" should be in different locations outside of Los Santos and cost more so we won't have to worry about new players getting their hands on drugs so quick.I don't want to control any drugs in the server, just the business itself so all of my members can role play delivering packages of drugs or selling it on the corners.I'll be assisting Owen in the scripting once he gets back to me.

When u use heroin, cocaine crack there should be a message down the screen like yo need more geroin/crack/coke, it should appear every hour or less, when you have thar your screeb should be moving like when youre drunk, you lose it when you don't use drugs for two hours.

it'll turn like some other servers, people wouldn't bother roleplaying the drug addiction and would try to avoid it.
Anyhow, yeah, Rick is right, maybe the street gangs etcetra could get ahold of marijuana, and the seeds, but the rest should be kept for the drug organizations.

It would be cool if DP members have profit by selling those drug.

Just wanted to bump, IRL gangs buy drugs from organizations, and in this case, say... DP.. In the street, drug dealers buy drugs for cheap prices, and sell them for higher prices. Say DP sells drugs only to leaders for lower prices, and he sells them, or distributes them through his hood.

EDIT - Say a drug dealer or a gang high rank buys a kilo of cocaine for say.. 3k and sells it for 4.5k or some shit (just an example)

I got somethin small.
If people try it,they get addicted by some kind of system,like if they dont smoke crack again in 1 or 2 days,they start losing HP or their aim is fucked(like when drunk).Just a small suggestion,since noone will rp addicted.

~ Blurred screen that tilts from side to side, not fast but slowly while being blurred [[ Weed ]]..

~ Colors change, you see things like people running around (When theres really nobody there), and just sick effects, trees flying around and stuff [[ Cocaine ]].

If you want that, learn to script or help Compton script it.
Because that's more advanced work you'll need to learn to stop the effect like a timer and one to start the effect and such, and players still want other updates. Until you find a scripter who knows a lot like someone from SA-MP.com. Only thing is they want like real money or server ownership which is way too much the least they'll get here is a house or a car. Face the fact that most updates are not gonna happen and we must appreciate what we still have to use on here. If anyone does know how to script on WCL they're usually amateurs and they can't help with what Compton requests. As well, most Boeile scripts or players will create bugs in our own WCL script.Therefore, "+1" to your suggestion will not get us a new drug effect script.

And what are you guys planning to script in future ?

I find it weird that admins always throws negative comments like, IT WAS JUST A QUESTION to see if this was something that people would want, and lol, if wcl really has so much problems getting a new scripter, ill buy one..

It'd be great if improvements would be done to the system. YES, I know we don't have a lot of people in the server that know how to script but, yeah, just wanted to ask if someone's possible of scripting atleast maybe another drug extra?
It'd be great if we added crack and maybe even pills and injections. Though I think noone's that good in scripting in the server.

Also, want to see how the rest thinks about this. Seeming this topic was created nearly 2 years ago and no big update has been done since, I think it's about time lol. No offense in any kind to the scripters of the server(Compton, Bull, Owen). Just saying it'd be a nice thing maybe to actually try to  update this script? It's getting boring honestly selling only weed nd cocaine.

Tbh here, I tried learning how to script but I stopped when I couldn't find an English tutorial, lol. I guess lazyness strikes everyone once in a while.

Well this should be improved also I was thinking about drug system, but I don't really know what should be scripted here hah I was thinking about some effects like strange sounds? Maybe if your character would use cocaine a lot he would get addicted or something .. idk really..

I think Compton should open "Suggestions" topic and let people say their opinions.I'm not so good at scripting but I can help too.
